Bike-Books.com presents this cycling book review for:

Tour De France 2002: The Official Guide (Tour De France Series)

This official annual book on the Tour de France is published in English in cooperation with Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO). It is packed with full color photos and tells the story of Lance Armstrong’s fourth consecutive victory in the world’s toughest and most prestigious bike race.

Each stage of the Tour is highlighted with anecdotal text and stunning photography. The race stories, cameos, tourist descriptions and candid images bring the event to life as only Jacques Augendre (official chronicler of the Tour since World War II).

Also included is a statistical section for each stage comprised of course profiles, results and summaries detailing highlights of the day. It isn’t difficult to imagine the photography and stories based on the commentary by Phil Liggett and Paul Sherwen in the footage attached.
